(LANDER, Wyo.) The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be stocking fish at two local ponds this coming Monday, April 22. Personnel from the fish hatchery in Dubois will be driving down to release 2000 catchable fish at Big Bend and Luckey ponds.
The truck will plan to be at Big Bend Ponds in Riverton at about 10:15 and will stock for about 45 minutes. They will then arrive at Luckey pond in Lander at about 11:30 Monday morning to begin stocking there.
There may be a handful of children from Riverton’s Rendevous Elementary helping out at the Big Bend ponds. They have been studying the Big Bend system and deposited Christmas trees this winter for fish habitat.
